Budget hearing

Criticized dead landscaping along Highway 78 near City Hall, asked for the Merritt Road letting date and how an $8 million shortfall will be covered, and questioned Sachse's sales tax ranking among peer cities.

Asked how the peer-city list was chosen, whether tax-freeze residents were factored in, and how Governor Abbott's proposed spending cap affects the budget.

Said she was told last year her budget questions wouldn't be answered, and asked for repainting of the Ben Davis median and cleanup between Ben Davis and Murphy Lane.
