Old Heritage Park improvements and possible tournaments

Two options for the aging ballpark side of Heritage Park: a basic amenity replacement or a version adding a new lighted turf field and food truck area (~$11.7 million). Member Danielle Parker, a travel-ball parent, pushed the idea of upgrading fields to tournament standard to generate revenue; staff noted existing fields don't meet tournament criteria and turfing existing fields would cost about $750,000 each.
